Tax Certificate FAQs - Everything You Need to Know!

With the tax season around the corner! Here is some clarity on your tax certificate.

What's Tax Deductible?
Your tax certificate only includes the tax-deductible portion of your BEMAS contributions, including your Medical Savings Account (if applicable).

What's the Calculation Period?
The certificate covers contributions from 1 March 2024 to 28 February 2025.

What About Claims Not Recovered?
It also includes information on claims not recovered from the Society.

Get a Monthly Breakdown!
Your certificate provides a clear monthly breakdown of the main member and active dependants.

How Are Claims Handled?
BEMAS will process claims for service dates before 28 February 2025, even if they're finalised after your tax certificate is generated.
